With more than 17,000 resident members, Multnomah Athletic Club is currently at capacity. From time to time, based on availability of membership openings, the club selects applicants for a temporary wait list through a lottery system.
   

Initiation Fees - effective October 1, 2009

Family Membership - $9,800

Individual Membership - $4,900

Ethnic Diversity Program

The ethnic diversity program is always open to individuals of underrepresented ethnicities, who demonstrate community involvement, to apply for membership without going through the membership lottery system. The underrepresented ethnicities are:

Black or African American – A person having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa.

Hispanic or Latino – A person having origins in any of the peoples of Central or South America, or any Latin American countries.

Asian or Pacific Islander – A person having origins in any of the original peoples of the Far East, Middle East, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, or the Pacific Islands.

American Native or Alaskan Native – A person having origins in any of the original peoples of North America.

A current senior MAC member must nominate ethnic diversity applicants. 


Once approved for membership by the Membership Committee and Board of Trustees, the member pays a full initiation fee and dues.  Currently, initiation fees are $4900 for an individual and $9800 for a family.  Members having entered the club through the ethnic diversity program are given a six-month grace period before being required to pay their respective initiation fee.  Two and Five year payment plans are available, should the member decide to not pay the initiation fee balance in full.
