The Winged M, the monthly magazine of Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC), reaches 25,000 readers. The Winged M is a four-color monthly magazine printed on 70-pound gloss stock and highlights athletic and social news of MAC members. The vast majority of MAC members are located in the Portland metropolitan area.
MAC has existed for 119 years and is one of the premier clubs in the United States. The club has more than 20,000 members who are well-educated leaders in the community. More than half the magazine’s readers are business owners or in management positions. In surveys, The Winged M consistently receives high satisfaction ratings from members and readers.
The Winged M relies on staff and committees for all copy and photographs. The primary objectives of the magazine are to inform members of upcoming events and to report on member accomplishments and activities. Every article submitted for the magazine or calendar is edited to magazine style guidelines.
