Competition Format and Awards

COMPETITION FORMAT and EQUIPMENT

Modified Capital Cup for girl’s sessions
Modified Capital Cup for boy’s optional sessions and Level 4
Traditional Format will be used for boy’s Levels 5 and 6
All equipment is AAI.


AGE GROUPS

Boys level 4 – no age groups
Girls level 4 – ages 6-8; 9-10; 11+

Boys level 5 – ages 7-8; 9-10; 11+
Girls level 5 – ages 7-9; 10-11; 12+

Boys level 6 – ages 7-8; 9-10; 11+
Girls level 6 – ages 7-10; 11-12; 13+

Boys level 7 – ages 9-10; 11-12; 13+
Girls level 7 – ages 7-11; 12-14; 15+

Boys level 8 – ages 11-12; 13-14; 16-18
Girls level 8 – ages 8-11; 12-14, 15+

Boys level 9 – ages 13-14; 15-16; 17-18
Girls level 9 & 10 – junior & senior divided equally

Boys level 10 – ages 15-16; 17-18

Mens Elite

Xcel Session - This "Rec Op" session will be for Xcel gymnasts.


AWARDS

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS – per session

All girls Level 4 and Level 5 will receive achievement ribbons
Level 4 boys will receive achievement ribbons and all-around medals
Top 6 places for individual events, per session, per age group, for all levels of girls
Top 10 places for individual all-around, per session, per age group, for all levels of girls
Top 15 places for individual all-around, per session, for boys
Individual event awards for boys will not be awarded at the meet per Oregon men’s rules


TEAM AWARDS – per session

Girls
Levels 4 to 8 are awarded 1st to 5th place; top three scores count
Levels 9 and 10 combined, top eight teams, compete in Team Finals – see below

Boys
Levels 4 to 7 are awarded 1st to 5th place; top three scores count
Levels 8 to 10 combined, top eight teams compete in Team Finals – see below


TEAM FINALS

Girls
Top EIGHT Levels 9 & 10 teams advance from All-Around sessions, using top three scores from levels 9 and 10 combined. Rules for Team Finals are as follows: five athletes up on each event, three scores count towards the team score. All athletes must compete on at least one event.

Boys
Top EIGHT teams advance from All-Around sessions, using top three scores from levels 8, 9 and 10 combined. Rules for Team Finals are as follows: five athletes up on each event, three scores count towards the team score. All athletes on a team must compete on at least one event.
