Multnomah Athletic Foundation Grants
The Multnomah Athletic Foundation provides community grants that support confidence and character-building opportunities with an emphasis on athletic participation for youth. The Foundation gives highest priority to activities that provide greater access and opportunities to youth who are economically disadvantaged and underserved.
Where?
We support nonprofit organizations providing services in the Greater Portland, Oregon area. We focus on the following counties – Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas.
Who?
An organization that is certified as tax exempt under Section 501(c) (3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and is not a private foundation as defined in section 509(a) of that Code is eligible for consideration.
When?
Our grant cycle and deadlines
are February 1, August 1, and October 1. Application are accepted at anytime.
What?
We offer the following types of grants:

Program
funding for program development and the continuation/expansion of existing programs.
- Operation support to enable an organization to carry out its core mission by strengthening organizational capacity and program sustainability.

Capital funding is limited and for specific projects with capital expenditures, such as equipment and facilities.
Details
Awards typically range from $250 and $3,000.
