Of the nine funds under the Foundation, two programs bring special importance to the Scholarship Selection Committee.
1. The Loprinzi Scholarship, grants funds to graduating seniors who have financial need and demonstrate strong academics, athletics and active community involvement. From the 26 Portland Metro High Schools, six finalists exemplified the characteristics which Joe Loprinzi would have been proud.
2. The Fay Sasser Scholarship is for MAC Employees or their children/grandchildren. This award recognizes the commitment, in many cases, of the employee’s dedication to education while balancing life’s work skills.
Thanks to donations and contributions, these scholarships continue to grow each year.
